男性在追求心愛女人時總會特別大方？英國一項新研究發現，與只有同性在場時相比，男性在有美女相伴時，通常會更慷慨，甚至願意多付一些錢。

據最新一期《英國心理學期刊》中研究指出，讓一群平均年齡為21歲的65名男性和65名女性分別參與2項實驗，現場還有各一名帥哥及美女。當雙方皆被要求需要公益捐款時，結果顯示，男生在具有吸引力的女性面前，會盡力想要表現最好的一面，特別是有美女觀看時，男生會比平時捐出更多錢。

相反地，女性無論身邊是男性或是女人在場，捐出的金額都是一樣。研究人員分析認為，男性會這麼做的原因與孔雀開屏的行為無異，都是為了可以吸引異性。
